TIMEPERIOD: Q IV LANGUAGE:English EXAMINER Istvan Saràdy Univ lekt PREREQUISITES Basic knowledge of materials processing and materials science. COURSE AIM The aim of the course is to give an overview of the processing of materials with high energy beams. CONTENTS Principles of flexible laser manufacturing processes like; cutting, welding, surface treatment, drilling etc. Principles of abrasive water jet cutting and processing with electron beams. TEACHING Lectures, project- and laboratory work, seminars. Compulsory attendance at lectures, laboratory work and seminars. EXAMINATION Project work to be presented by written reports and by oral presentations. COURSE GRADE SCALE: ITEMS/CREDITS | |
