PREREQUISITES
Posses a bachelor degree in science or 120 university points in the field of science or equivalent and have a good knowledge in English.

COURSE AIM
The course is aimned to provide the sudent with an understanding of the role of ergonomic design as i applies to work design, workplace design, machine design and product design. The course will provide the knowledge and skills necessary for the student to contribute as an ergonomist to the design process.

CONTENTS
Role of human characteristics and capabilities in interface design; Work layout; Machine design; Product design: Methods for evaluating man/machine interface design; Methods for collecting data on users experience with particular design solutions.

TEACHING
After the theoretical phase, which will be in the form of lectures, practical classes of the methodology of the design process will be conducted.

EXAMINATION
Written tests and assignment reports.
