TIMEPERIOD: LANGUAGE:Swedish EXAMINER Leena Hamberg Univ adj PREREQUISITES General eligibility for course admission. COURSE AIM The aim of the course is to provide basic practical skills in Finnish and theoretical knowledge of the language, with emphasis on the spoken standard language. CONTENTS The course is divided into three main modules. However,the contents will be integrated as far as possible. Modules 1 and 2 to run parallel with each other. Module 1. Linguistics and grammar (6 credits). Module 2. Oral proficiency (4.5 credits). Module 3. Written proficiency (4.5 credits). TEACHING EXAMINATION Module 1. Continuous assessment of grammar exercises. The module will end with a written test (6 credits). Module 2. Continuous assessment of listening comprehension and oral assignments (4.5 credits). Module 3. Continuous assessment of the written assignments. The module will end with a written test (3 credits). Students who do not pass the tests will have the opportunity to take a resit. The course is graded as above. COURSE GRADE SCALE: Fail, Pass, Pass with Dis ITEMS/CREDITS | |
