COURSE AIM The aims of the course are that students gain insight into the new translation of the Bible with emphasis on the Old Testament and the Apocrypha. CONTENTS Survey of the origin and content of the Old Testament and the Apocrypha. Study of the translation and linguistic revision of the Old Testament and the Apocrypha. TEACHING The teaching will consist of literature seminars, exercises in interpretation and didactic discussions. EXAMINATION Written and oral examination, individually and in groups.
