PREREQUISITES
General entrance requirements.

COURSE AIM
The aims of the course are that students:
- acquire knowledge of the ethics and philosophies of religion of different cultures - values, norms
and rules
- acquire knowledge of their own cultural identity
- gain familiarity with methods and skills for working with ethical issues

CONTENTS
Ethics and values.
Cultural identity.
The process of socialisation.
Children's thoughts and questions about life.

TEACHING
The teaching will consist of lectures, lessons, seminars and group work. There will be seven or eight occasions for teaching distributed over the term. A project will be included in the course.

EXAMINATION
Written and oral examination, individually and in groups.
COURSE GRADE SCALE: Fail, Pass.
