TIMEPERIOD: Q3-Q4 LANGUAGE:Swedish EXAMINER Marie-Louise Annerblom Univ lekt PREREQUISITES Applicants must have completed the course PÄP052. COURSE AIM The aims of the course are that students acquire the competence needed to meet the demands attached to the profession of a pre-school teacher in a changing society, and learn how to plan and implement development work in future spheres of activities. CONTENTS Leadership within the professional role and ethics of leadership. Decision processes, budgeting, management and control. TEACHING The teaching will be problem-based and will be based on the participants' earlier experiences. The different aspects of the course will be integrated. The teaching will consist of lectures, literature seminars, group discussions, group-work, and supervision in both theoretical and practical aspects of the course. Study visits and expert consultations will also be included in the course. The students will be required to present their degree projects in a seminar, and to participate in at least three additional seminars. EXAMINATION Written and oral examination, individually and in groups. Evaluation of work placement and degree project. COURSE GRADE SCALE: Fail, Pass. ITEMS/CREDITS | |
