PREREQUISITES
Applicants must have completed the courses PÄP044, PÄS025, KSP049, PÄN001 and PÄP046.

COURSE AIM
The aims of the course are that students:
- acquire in-dept knowledge of nature and outdoor life
- acquire knowledge of methods for camp school activities and learn how to encourage a lasting interest in nature and outdoor life
- develop skills in planning and implementing a camp school for school children

CONTENTS
In-depth field studies on ecological connections in the local environment of the places where the camp schools are held.
Didactic and methodical aspects of nature studies.
Implementation of a camp school during the third week of the course.
Degree project during the last two weeks of the course.

TEACHING
The teaching will mainly be problem-based, which means that exercises and assignments are done in groups.
Lessons, laboratory work and exercises.
Camp school for school children.


EXAMINATION
Written examination and practical, oral and written presentation of both individual and group assignments.
COURSE GRADE SCALE: Fail, Pass.
