COURSE AIM
- To give a basic understanding of science theory.
- To introduce the student to scientific method analysis and application.
- To give a summary of the debate surrounding theoretical science.
- To give an understanding of the relationship between development of theory and technical application in a historical perspective.



CONTENTS
- The concepts science and scientificness and the meaning theese concepts have within the different ideas of science theory.
- To show differences and similarities between the theories and scientific methods of social science and general science.
- Theories without application and application without theories.
- Mankind and his creation.
- Science ethics.

Written exams and seminars.
Grading system: Fail or Pass.
