TIMEPERIOD: Q 2 LANGUAGE:English/Swedish EXAMINER Sven-Åke Hörte Prof PREREQUISITES Univ: Business Administation A. COURSE AIM To give the student the ability to understand the phenomenon of organizational cultures. CONTENTS The course describes and explains the concept of organizational cultures and shows the close connection between management, culture and change.The course also deals with the specific cultural programming of human beeings in different countries and an analysis of national and organizational differences. TEACHING The teaching will take the form of lectures and seminars. Some of the seminars are compulsory. EXAMINATION Written examination at the end of the course. In addition to a passed written examination, a passed cumpulsory assignment is required. Students who do not pass the ordinary exam, will have at least one additional opportunity to re-take the exam during the academic year. The grades are fail, pass and pass with distinction.
