COURSE AIM The course aim is to enhance the understanding of economic theory and to develop the students ability to perform independent economic analyses. CONTENTS The course deals with macroeconomic theory. Prevailing theory economic variables, such as inflation, unemployment, trade deficits/surpluses, exchange rates and budget deficits are studied. In addition, the impact of stabilization policy on the above variables will be examined. TEACHING EXAMINATION Written exam: 6.0 ECTS credits
