TIMEPERIOD: Q I, Q3 LANGUAGE:English/Swedish EXAMINER Marian Radetzki Prof PREREQUISITES IEN 326, IEN 327, IEN 328 and one of IEN 329, IEN 331or IEN336 or corresponding. COURSE AIM The course aim is to enhance the understanding of economic theory, with special emphasis on environment and natural resource economies. CONTENTS In this course economic theory is used to analyse environmental problems and problems concerning the use of natural resources. The first part discusses the causes of environmental problems and how they might be solved. The second half treats the use of renewable as well as non-renewable resources. TEACHING EXAMINATION
