TIMEPERIOD: Q IV LANGUAGE:English/Swedish EXAMINER Anita Mirijamdotter Univ lekt PREREQUISITES Grade Pass in Informatics and System Science A and B, 20 points, or equivalent courses to be approved by the examiner. COURSE AIM The aim of the project is to enhance the student knowledge of - a selected subject within the field of informatics and system science - the process of scientific investigation and the writing of scientific reports - the critical examination of literature. CONTENTS The purpose of this is to consolidate the knowledge aquired througout the programme. The student will select a specific area of interest and conduct an investigation under the supervision of the teaching staff. TEACHING No lectures will be conducted. Students must meet regularly with their assigned supervisor to review the progress of their project. The project will be presented at a seminar EXAMINATION Fail, Pass, Pass with Distincion. The evaluation will be based on a written report and on an oral presentation and defens of the paper. Written and oral opposition one someone elses paper is also included.
