TIMEPERIOD: Q III LANGUAGE:English/Swedish EXAMINER Anita Mirijamdotter Univ lekt PREREQUISITES Grade Pass in Informatics and System Science A, 20 points, or equivalent courses to be approved by the examiner. Technology and Society, 5 points, or equivalent, is recommended. COURSE AIM The aim of the course is to give the student - knowledge of current approaches to systems design, its history and development - insight in critical and normative issues related to systems design and the manner in which different design methods deal with these issues. CONTENTS The content of the couse is - integration of information and organisaational design - Scandinavian design methods - systems design as a learning process, Soft Systems Methodology - methodology for cultural ekology, Multi-modal Systems Methodology TEACHING Teaching will take the form of lectures and tutorials EXAMINATION Students will be assessed through tutorial papers and a final written examination Grades awarded: Fail, Pass and Pass with Distinction COURSE GRADE SCALE: U, G and VG ITEMS/CREDITS | |
