TIMEPERIOD: Q I LANGUAGE:English/Swedish EXAMINER Guohua Bai Univ lekt PREREQUISITES General qualifications. COURSE AIM The aim of the course is to give the student knowledge on developing and working with Decision Support Systems. CONTENTS The course deals with: 1. Systematic view of DSS - an introduction to DSS - Model of human decision making 2. Use and integration of DSS in work - Constructing work context and tools - Integrated network services in decision making - Some social-technical considerations in developing a DSS 3. Design of DSS - Methodologies in developing DSS - Structure and Construction of DSS - DSS database, model-base, interface design TEACHING Teaching will take the form of lessons/lectures in English and project work.
