TIMEPERIOD: Quarter II LANGUAGE:English/Swedish EXAMINER Glenn Lundborg Univ adj PREREQUISITES SBT012 or ABG009 COURSE AIM The course will provide knowledge of road and railroad design. CONTENTS Fundamental principles of traffic engineering Geometrical design Road design Railroad design Drawing of road analysis, railroad analysis and working plan Accounting of road analysis Accounting of railroad analysis Accounting of working plan Computer aid TEACHING The instruction consists of lessons, educational visits and a design problem that will be carried out with computer aid. EXAMINATION Some continuous examination. There will be a written test during the course. The design problem will be graded with pass (or fail). COURSE GRADE SCALE: U, G ITEMS/CREDITS | |
