TIMEPERIOD: Quarter I LANGUAGE:Swedish EXAMINER Dieke Sörlin Univ adj PREREQUISITES SBE007 COURSE AIM To give an overview of present environmental conditions, mainly for the Scandinavian region, and what antropogenic emissions and processes have led to present condition. CONTENTS Identification and demarcation of several important environment problems as greenhouse effect, ozon depletion, acidification, eutrophication, fotochemical oxidants, heavy metals, persistent organic compounds, decrease of biological diversity, et al. Toxicology: uptake, translocation, biotransformation and effects of toxic substances. Ecotoxicology: dissemination of xenobiotica in the environment on local, regional and global level.
