COURSE AIM
The aim of the course is to enable the student to choose and dimension equipment for use in chemical process operations. It is also the purpose of the course to give the theoretical background to the operational mode, control and optimization of these processes.

CONTENTS
Diffusion and reaction in porous catalysts: continuation of reactor stability
determination of reation kinetics: project assignment.

TEACHING
The course is presented in the form of lectures, tutorials and a major project assignment. The tutorials and the project assignment are compulsory.

EXAMINATION
Approved project assignment, tutorials and an approved written examination with differentiated grades.

COURSE GRADE SCALE: U,3,4,5
