Basic qualifications.


COURSE AIM
The course provides basic knowledge corresponding to the natural sciences or technology secondary school study line or equivalent.


CONTENTS
Q I
Some fundamental concepts of chemistry. Stoichiometry. The ideal gas law. Chemical bonding.
Q III
Chemical reactions. Chemical equilibrium. Thermochemistry. Acids and bases. Electrochemistry.
Q IV
Organic chemistry. Biochemistry.



TEACHING
The instruction consists of lessons and compulsory laboratory classes.



EXAMINATION
Graded written examinations after Lp I, III and IV. Passed laboratory reports. The grade of KMK001 is a weighted average of the grades of the three examinations.
