MPR023 Project in Manufacturing Systems Engineering 12.0 ECTS credits | |

TIMEPERIOD: Q II-III, III-IV LANGUAGE:Swedish EXAMINER Mikael Bäckström Univ lekt PREREQUISITES Good knowledge in manufacturing processes and/or manufacturing engineering. COURSE AIM The course shall develop the students ability to analyse and solve manufacturing problems in a professional way, furthermore give the students a knowledge of manufacturing engineering issues and problems of present interest in the industry. The course shall also develop the ability to plan, manage and present project work in teams. CONTENTS Project planning: planing and follow-up of projects with manual and computer based project control tools. Project work: the main part of the course consists of projects from the regional industry. Study tour: one week tour within Sweden visiting manufacturing companies of various kinds. The student are, in co-operation with examiner, responsible for the planing realization and follow-up of the tour. TEACHING Lectures and project work.
