TIMEPERIOD: LANGUAGE: EXAMINER H Shanavaz Prof PREREQUISITES Possess a bachelors degree in science or 120 university points in the field of science or equivalent and have proficiency in English. COURSE AIM To highlight the trend of ergonomics in the world and introduce some ergonomic applications and success stories. CONTENTS Ergonomics and its objectives; Current ergonomics and work environment problems at various work places; Different areas of ergonomics application and the trend of ergonomics research and activities. TEACHING Lectures and compulsory assignment. The students shall work individually or in groups in carrying out a case study in ergonomics and shall present their findings with recommendations. EXAMINATION Carrying out individual or group mini-project on ergonomics application and forwarding a written report. Oral questions during presentation. COURSE GRADE SCALE: ITEMS/CREDITS | |
