TIMEPERIOD: Q IV LANGUAGE:Swedish EXAMINER Lars Stehn Univ lekt PREREQUISITES ABB006, ABB007, ABS006, (Structural Mechanics part A and B, Structural Engingeering part I) or equivalent COURSE AIM The aim of the course is to give basic knowledge in building technology, including building physics, applied on building elements (walls, roofs etc.) in commercial and industrial buildings using the current building code. CONTENTS Building technology in a historical perspective: (5%) Functional requirements for buildings: (50%). Heat and moisture transport, acoustics and sound insulation, fire protection, springness of floor joists, building codes. Light-weight construction technology: (10%) Building elements: (15%) Roof and wall structures for commercial and industrial buildings, masonry structures. Industrial buildings: (20%). Drawing basics, project work.
