- Pronunciation classes to achieve pronunciation, with special emphasis on intonation. Listening comprehension exercises which will pay special attention to the contractions and assimilations that occur in the normal spoken Swedish.
- Oral presentations
- Text reading; newspapers, non-fiction and fiction.
- Exercises in linguistic correctness with emphasis on grammatical constructions that are specific for the Swedish language.
- Repetition and further studies in Swedish morphology and syntax
- Swedish word-formation and semantics.
- Written presentations.


TEACHING


EXAMINATION
Continuous assessment of oral skills.
Individual assignments to be presented in class.
Literature assignments.
Written homework.
A final test where listening comprehension, reading comprehension and written work will be assessed.

COURSE GRADE SCALE: Fail, Pass
