PREREQUISITES
General eligibility with at least grade 3 from a 3 year upper secondary school course programme.
COURSE AIM
The aim of the course is to improve the general English proficiency of the students and their knowledge of English regarding business activities and industrial economics.
CONTENTS
The course consists of grammar ( grammar lessons with exercises), reading (discussions on both contents and vocabulary of course related texts; pronunciation exercises and dictionary exercises), writing skills
(translation exercises, summaries, letter writing, essay writing), oral skills (presentations).
Exercises in language laboratory.
TEACHING
Lectures and seminars. Participation in all writing and oral activities is compulsory.
EXAMINATION
Written examination in grammar and vocabulary. The course will be graded as above.
