TIMEPERIOD: T 5 LANGUAGE:Swedish EXAMINER S Lindberg Univ adj PREREQUISITES To have passed the courses KSP001 and KSP002 specializing in music or equivalent qualifications. COURSE AIM The aim of the course is to provide the students with knowledge of: - basic education in music in compulsory school - the social function and didactics of the subject - music from other cultures - the importance of methods of working creatively CONTENTS - song repertoire - musical appreciation - simple arrangements - knowledge of instruments - ensemble playing - improvisation and creativity - the importance and use of music in school - Swedish folk music which also includes music from Norrbotten and songs written in Lappish and Finnish - music from other cultures - how music can be used to integrate - exercises and methodology for leaders - teaching of instruments TEACHING - lectures - seminars - projects - field studies - literature seminars EXAMINATION The students will be graded on individual examination and assessment during the experimental part of the course.
