PREREQUISITES
Applicants must have completed the courses KSP046 and PÄP044.

COURSE AIM
The aims of the course are that students acquire knowledge of: - atomic theory as a model of explanation for chemical processes and physical phenomena - transformations, phases and phase transitions in chemical reactions - the history of ideas within science, and scientific formation of concepts and models - the significance of the experiment in scientific work procedures and scientific didactics - electromagnetic basic concepts, theory of circuits and applications - the axiomatic, deductive and inductive structure in mathematical theory of numbers Students are also to develop: - understanding through metacognition of how the anxiomatic, deductive and inductive structure in mathematical theory of numbers is applied in comprehensive school on knowledge of both concepts and procedures - in-depth understanding of mathematical concepts - ability to apply laboratory and examining work procedures
