PREREQUISITES
Pedagogical Diploma or equivalent qualifications of pedagogical activity.


COURSE AIM
The aim of the course is to give basic knowledge of evaluation in theory and practice.


CONTENTS
ITEM 1. Basic Theory of Science.
The scientific concept.
Different schools of theory of science.
Quanitative and qualitative approaches.
Methods of information acquisition.
ITEM 2. Evaluation.
The concept of evaluation.
Different methods of evaluation.
Topical evaluation work of pedagogical activity.
The evaluation in practice.
ITEM 3. Individual evaluation work.
Plan, carry out and report an individual evaluation work.


TEACHING
The teaching should give support and structure for the students´ acquired knowledge of the course content and opportunity of skill practice. This requires an active participation in the teaching. The form of the teaching is lectures, seminars, group practice and supervision.


EXAMINATION
Examination is written or oral, partly continous within the framwork of the education, partly at the end of each item. Evaluation of the written report takes place at a seminar where the examiner/doctoral candidate model is used.There will be an examination at the end of each item. Every examination must have been passed to get the grade pass.
