COURSE AIM Item 1 Organization To provide extended knowledge on leadereship and on how to organize business within the leisure field. Item2 Marketing of services, tourism and culture To provide extended knowledge on those special marketing problems that occur within leisure and tourism. CONTENTS Item 1 Organization The course focus on leadership within the leisure area. The change of the leadership role, the influence that leaders have on strategic issues and development of the leader role are discussed. Different ways to organize business within the leisure area are also discussed. Item2 Marketing of services, tourism and culture The course considers special marketing problems that can occur within the area of leisure, tourism and culture. These problems will be discussed with regard to the special kind of companies within the area and with regard to the cross-functional character of the problems. TEACHING Lectures, seminars, group assignments, cases and project work. EXAMINATION Written test, group assignments, presentation of cases and project work.
