TIMEPERIOD: LANGUAGE:Swedish EXAMINER A Grennberg Univ lekt PREREQUISITES COURSE AIM The course gives ability to use certain mathematical standard methods needed for treating problems in electrical engineering, signal processing and automatic control. Great emphasis will be given to illustrate the application of the methods by using examples from these areas. CONTENTS Linear time invariant systems, discrete and continous systems, convolutions, elementary theory for distributions. Fourier series and transforms: properties, convergence etc. Parseval relation. Discrete fourier transforms and series, DFT and FFT. Applications to filters, sampling theory, aliasing.
