TIMEPERIOD: LANGUAGE: EXAMINER Å Wernersson Prof PREREQUISITES SMS020 Signals and Systems I, SMS021 Signals and Systems II or Signals and Systems SMS006 (6p.) and SMS022 Discrete Time Signal Processing. COURSE AIM The objective of this course is to give the students knowledge about multidimensional systems. The applications cover multidimensional signal processing as well as image processing, which is an important special case. CONTENTS Multidimensional Signal Processing: Multidimensional signals, systems and transforms. Design and implementations of two-dimensional filters. Inverse problems. Image Processing: General, point operations, filtering, image enhancement, detection, coding. TEACHING Classes, compulsory laborations and home exercises.
