COURSE AIM
The course provides basic knowledge about photogrammetry in general, with special reference to digital photogrammetry. The aim is that the student will be able to evaluate the usefulness of photogrammetric data and also have sufficient theoretical knowledge for management of digital photogrammetric systems.
CONTENTS
The history of photogrammetry, basic geometry, error propagation Inner orientation, relative orientation, absolute orientation, simultaneous orientation.
Flight planning, targetting, photography, geodetic surveys.
Stereoinstruments, orthophotos, aerial triangulation.
Digital photogrammetry, scanning, image compression, image matching.
TEACHING
Lectures and laborative work. Participation in laborative work is compulsory.
