PREREQUISITES
Basic courses in hydraulics and sanitary engineering.
COURSE AIM
To give a basic understanding of urban hydrology and modern techniques and computer programs used for analysis and design of urban storm water system.
CONTENTS
Surface runoff theories and models. Computation of runoff from urban and rural areas. Design and analysis of urban storm sewers. Storm water management, planning and environmental effects. Use of the modern computer model MOUSE-NAM.
TEACHING
EXAMINATION
The course is examined continuously by computer based project work and seminars. Participation in computer laborations and seminars is compulsory.
