TIMEPERIOD: Q IV LANGUAGE:Swedish EXAMINER Mats Lindberg Univ lekt PREREQUISITES Basic qualifications COURSE AIM The course provides basic knowledge in chemistry which will facilitate the understanding of future chemistry related courses. The course also gives some experience in basic laboratory work. CONTENTS Fundamental concepts Chemical bonding, inter- and intramolecular forces, molecular structur Thermodynamics Chemical equilibria, principles and some applications Electrochemistry TEACHING The instruction consists of lectures and compulsory laboratory classes.
