CONTENTS Flow of a fluid. Flow through pipes, orifices and narrow-gaps. Properties of hydraulic fluid. Viscosity, density and compressibility. Components. Pumps and motors, cylinders, valves, accumulators, filters ans seals. Hydraulic systems. Principles and methods of describe the behaviour of components and systmes. System Layout. Maintenance. Dynamic characteristics. Simple dynamic theory of hydrostatic systems. Pressure spikes. TEACHING EXAMINATION Fulfilled and passed project work and exercises.
