TIMEPERIOD: LANGUAGE:English EXAMINER R Feeney, Loughborough Univ. UK Utl prof PREREQUISITES Possess a bachelor degree in science or 120 university points in the field of science and have profiency in English. COURSE AIM To give a knowledge on the working environment as a total system including man, to make the student familiar with the planning processes which are used to develop and design such systems and to give knowledge on methods to describe and analyse human work as a basic pre-requisite of system design. CONTENTS The concept of systems ergonomics; Industrial and other production systems; The role of humans in systems; Man-machine-(computer)-organization interaction; Methods of system evaluation; Socio-technical systems; The process of change; Theory of planning; Methods of industrial and environmental planning. TEACHING The teaching will be mainly in the form of lectures and compulsory seminars. EXAMINATION Written tests and mini project presentation COURSE GRADE SCALE: ITEMS/CREDITS | |
