TIMEPERIOD: LANGUAGE:English/Swedish EXAMINER Studierektor PREREQUISITES General eligibility for admission. COURSE AIM To give theoretical and practical knowledge of computer-aided design. To give the students knowledge of different CAD-system and their function. To facilitate project work within regional industries. CONTENTS Introduction (1%). Fundamentals of CAD with respect to systems, hardware, software etc. (4%). 2D-construction/layout (10%). 3D-construction/layout (14%). Wire frame models, surface models, solid models. Visualisation and presentation (10%). Construction assignments (16%). Project work (45%) TEACHING The course consists of seminars, laboratory work under supervision, and a project work. EXAMINATION Approved laboratory practicals. Approved project work on CAD with written report and presentation. COURSE GRADE SCALE: Fail, Pass ITEMS/CREDITS | |
