PREREQUISITES

COURSE AIM
The aim of the course is to give basic knowledge about surveying methods applicable to the trade of building. Optics is treated in a separate part of the course.

CONTENTS
Geometric optics Physicalic optics The shape of the earth and map projections Surveying techniques Theory of errors GPS Photogrammetry

TEACHING
Lectures and field work. Field work is compulsory.

EXAMINATION
Written examination and approved field work.
