PREREQUISITES
Pedagogical Diploma or equivalent qualifications of pedagogical activity.

COURSE AIM
The aim of the course is to increase the consciousness of the significance of the communication and give knowledge to be prepared to support the pupils«social development and based on knowledge, through conversation that can lead to development.

CONTENTS
The students should have knowledge about: -some converational theories, -different levels of communication, -structure and technique in a vocational conversation, -the different between quater-conversation and conversation that can lead to development, -conversation at crisis, -group and group processes, -ethics: conflicts and dealing with conflicts.

TEACHING
The course is organized as distance teaching with delayed study tempo. The teaching should give support and structure to the student«s acquisition of the course content and opportunity to skill practice. The participation of the course is obligatory. Sound and video recording will be used. The course is characterized of a problem-directed way of working. Analysis of a conversation that can lead to development, recorded by the student, is part of the specialized assignment.

EXAMINATION
Examination is written or oral. Active participation of the different practices as well as passed result of the theoretical part of the course and conversational analysis are required to obtain the grade pass.
COURSE GRADE SCALE: Fail, Pass.
