COURSE AIM
To give some basic knowledge about pumps, fans and compressors.

CONTENTS
General theory for turbomachines. Pump theory. Cavitation, power input, different types of pumps. Fans with different bladings. Use of fan diagrams. Fans in systems. Different types of compressors.

TEACHING
Lectures and compulsory laboratory work.
