COURSE AIM
To get the student familiar with the foundations of modern optical measuring methods and to apply these methods in measurements in combination with computers.

CONTENTS
Light sources and detectors, digital image processing, fringe analysis, the computer as a measuring device, data analysis, transmitters, high speed photography, infrared photography, laser-doppler anemometry.

TEACHING
Lectures, demonstrations and laboratory work.
