PREREQUISITES

COURSE AIM
The student will do simple applications of CAD, pneumatics and hydraulics in machine design.

CONTENTS
Pneumatics, hydraulics (60%) Components, control, Boole's algebra, hydrostatic energy, converters and system CAD (40%) CAD application on personal computer, Autocad, Autolisp

TEACHING
The education consists of lessons, computer and design practice and laboratories. Main focus is on application of different theories in machine design work. Laboratory lessons: 1. Pneumatic logic systems 2. Efficiency measurements on hydraulic transmission 3. Characteristics and function of hydraulic components
