COURSE AIM
The course shall give a general knowledge and understanding for production simulation as tool for analysing and development of manufacturing systems, as well as a practical experience of computer modelling, analyses and evaluation of simulations results.

CONTENTS
The course consists of lectures (30%) and laboratories/cases (70%). The lectures will covered general simulation theory, the advantages as well as the disadvantages with the method and the demands for a successful simulation project. The lectures will also include a exercises to increase the understanding for discrete simulation.

Written test, cases, projects and laboratory works.
