PREREQUISITES


COURSE AIM
The aim of this course is to give a working knowledge of central concepts and methods in differential geometry, as well as applications of these in science and tehnology.

CONTENTS
Geometrical methods in physics, for example: manifolds, vector fields, differential forms, integrals, connections, curvature, local and global invariants, symplectic structures, gemetrical aspects and applications of Hamiltonian mechanics and other physical theories.

TEACHING
The teaching consists of lectures.

EXAMINATION
Written exam.
