COURSE AIM
- To deepen the students knowledge of political processes in society as well as the different theories of political science which surround theese processes. - To deepen the students insight into the scientific study of politics, with reference on the choice of theoretical, methodical and analytical impulses. - The ambition of the course is to stimulate independence, both with reference on choice of subject, literature and methods of analysis.

CONTENTS
- Every student must write and defend a thesis at a special seminar. - Choice of subject, presentation of a problem etc will be presented by the student in a written memorandum, a so called thesis-memo. - The memorandum will be discused at a special seminar.

TEACHING

EXAMINATION
Thesis, seminar and approved opposition. Grading system: Fail, Pass or Honours.
