COURSE AIM
- To deepen the students knowledge of political processes in society as well as the different theories of political science that surround theese processes. - To deepen the students insight into the scientific study of politics, with reference on the choice of theoretical, methodical and analytical impulses. - The ambition of the course is to stimulate independence, both with reference on choice of subject, literature and methods of analysis.

CONTENTS
Course A: The Scientific Study of Politics. - More modern political theory. - The concept discourse analysis is introduced. - Emphasis is layed on the concepts politics and different scientific impulses, the purpose being to study these phenomenon. Course B: Own Choice of Course. - Each student can choose between two alternatives: 1: Comparitive Politics and Administration. 2: International Politics. - Literature is chosen in consultation with tutor.

EXAMINATION
Written and oral exams and compulsary assignments. Grading system: Fail, Pass or Honours.
