COURSE AIM
AIM OF COURSE - To give an overall view of the country, its people and daily life. - To compare special aspects of the Swedish society with conditions in the students« home countries.

CONTENTS
Course A (2 points): Discusses what is typical about Sweden from a geographical, social and historical perspective. Course B (3 points): Project work, which consists of a comparison between some aspects of the Swedish society and the conditions in the students« home countries. TEACHING
Lectures, individual and group exercises. Study visits to local sites of interest.

EXAMINATION
The project is to be in the form of a written paper and in a seminar. The grades are fail and pass.
