COURSE AIM
The aim of the course is to give the student fundamental theoretical knowledge of real-time information systems for command and control.

CONTENTS
Principles (3.0 credits) - general systems theory, sociotechnical systems - technical and administrative real-time systems - critical systems - operational management and security systems - tele and data communication - human/systems interaction Construction of critical systems (6.0 credits) - critical systems - life cycles, methods of construction, construction tools - systems architecture - hardware, programmable logic devices, software - risk analys, reliability analys, error analys - legal aspects, rules, standards Security informatics (3.0 credits) - vulnerability analysis, security revision - information security, data security, communication security - physical security measure, logical security systems, systems security Systems inegration (3.0 credits) - local and global architectures - subsystems, moduls, interfaces - programmable logic devices - analog components, digital components - sensors, control function, controller - systems test - systems support

TEACHING
Teaching will take the form of lessons/lectures, laboratory work and seminars.

EXAMINATION
Examination will be in the form of written examination and required assignments.
