COURSE AIM
The goal of the project is to study current research issues and implement some of the suggested solutions in a prototype network. The long-term goal, over the years, is to develop a test network for supporting advanced communication applications.

CONTENTS
Some of the following issues can be considered: - efficient and differentiated packet switching - operating systems support - traffic shaping - service commitments - flow establishment and routing - service commitments - flow establishment and routing - multicasting - mobility A course in Information Retreival BIB001 is included.

TEACHING
Project groups, meetings with minutes, written timecards, a compulsory oral presentation and a written report.
