COURSE AIM
The students should have an in-depth competence of the significans of the play, the toys in a historical as well as a conemporary perspective, the place with dolls in our institutes. The students should develop an imaginative approach as basis to stimulate children«s play with dolls. The students should be able to plan a goal-directed activity where children«s play withe dolls make a central means.

CONTENTS
The course deals with toys in different time periods. Theories about the significance of the play for children«s learning and development. Educational leadership and the play as a teaching aid. The course aims more to start processes in the students than to teach models.

TEACHING
Literature studies, seminars, field studies and an individual work are parts of the course.

EXAMINATION
The students are graded on group and individual assignments.
COURSE GRADE SCALE: Fail, Pass.
