The syllabus has been approved by the Dept. of Human Work Sciences on 23 Sept, 1993 and will be effectiv from autumn term '95.
FÖRKUNSKAPSKRAV
Possess a bachelor degree in science or 120 university points in the field of science and have a good knowledge in English.
MÅL
The course is aimed to provide the student with an understanding of the role of ergonomic design as it applies to work design, workplace design, machine design and product design. The course will provide the knowledge and skills necessary for the student to contribute as an ergonomist to the design process
INNEHÅLL
Role of human characteristics and capabilities in interface design; Work layout; Machine design; Product design; Methods for evaluating man/machine interface design; Methods for collecting data on users experience with particular design solutions.
UNDERVISNING
After the theoretical phase which will be in the form of lectures, practical classes of the methodology of the design process will be conducted.
