COURSE AIM
Understanding the use of EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) within the modern community. To be familiar with the EIA, the process as well as the product.

CONTENTS
The nature and purposes of EIA. The process of EIA, project screening, prediction, evaluation and presentation. Practice as a number of case studies and lectures on the Swedish EIA-situation. Presentation of EIA-reports in seminars.
